Heatcraft has been working closely with the Department of Energy (DOE) since 2014 to ensure affected products meet upcoming January 1, 2020, and July 10, 2020, Annual Walk-In Energy Factor (AWEF) minimum efficiency standards. Heatcraft is committed to serving as a trusted voice in preparing our customers and our partners for regulatory changes. The key components of Heatcraft’s roadmap to DOE 2020 compliance are highlighted in this blog.
As a result of advanced planning and research, Heatcraft has been able to execute product changes that not only ensure compliance by mandated dates, but in some cases, offer enhancements to impacted product lines.
